Looking for friends to do just about anything with. Interested in going to places that have hills, mountains, forests, rivers, canyons, you know, scenery. I just can't seem to get over how flat it is where I live right now. Would really like to see some live music for a change. I think I've had my fill of the twangy depressing bar room country music for awhile. There are so many other genres of music, it would be nice to see something different for a change. Small town Texas has proven to be ridiculously boring for me. Have been seriously considering moving to Lubbock in the not to distant future. New Mexico or Arizona would be 2 top of the list places I'd like to live. Originally from Maryland, I moved out here to this part of the world in early 2004 after my 13 yr marriage ended. People that know me would tell you I'm very Intelligent, honest, trustworthy, dependable, and a bit eccentric. I don't have time for playing head games. I believe other peoples feelings are just as important as mine are. I try to treat others the way I would like them to treat me. I'm an anti-drama supporter for life. I'm a self taught computer geek, I haven't found one yet that I can't fix. I'm a self taught chess player that has trouble finding worthy opponents. I'm a pretty good self taught hand drummer on my congas, djembes, and other orted odd musical instruments. I'm not a drinker, it's just not my thing, never was nor will be. A band playing is about the only reason I'd be in a bar, other than doin the DD thing for my drinkin friends. I'm really wanting to quit smoking cigarettes and believe I can, but feel it's gonna be one of the hardest things to do. I do not suffer from jealousy nor am I a control freak. I'm not the typical average everyday guy that alot of men are these days. I'm sure you know those kinda guys cause I see alot of you don't have much good to say about them either. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not trying to make myself out to be the perfect man by no means. I don't like being ociated with things some men do just cause I happen to be a man.
