Hi. My name's Dave. Something you should know about me: I'm quite a shy and composed, introverted person although I consider myself a very nice guy. In honesty I tend not to sell myself so well because of this. I'm looking for a nice l who is understanding and accommodating of this. I tend not to enjoy and get burned out by hugely social activities for example clubbing. I would instead, much prefer to sit in a quit pub. I'm a 'lower energy vibe' type of person. Not in a lethargic or lazy sense, infact I'm quite active. What I mean to state is that I don't think I am looking for a party/clubber type of girl. I fealt it was important to get that out there, as I'm looking for a very special girl and it makes sense to me to be honest if want to meet her. These things are a part of my personality, which, I don't see as flaws. I think there far worse ways to be. Some great news is that I'm actually a pretty balanced guy. I know myself, I'm honest - but not without tact. I don't do drugs. I enjoy an occasional drink but I don't feel like I 'need' to have a one. I'm very loyal to my friends and people I care about, reliable, kind, monogamous, well mannored, I'm quite strong and physically fit but I'm a gentle person, I'd say I'm quite rational, good at reading people, fairly intelligent, observant and diplomatic. I generally have a lot of time for people I like and feel that I'm a great listener. I love movies and I enjoy going to the cinema. Although I suppose that's a given, virtually everyone loves film. Some random awesome Films: There Will Be Blood. LotR trilogy. 300. Ironclad. Cast Away. Unforgiven. Predator. A Beautiful Mind. Some random awesome series: Scrubs, Fawlty Towers, Rome, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Deadwood, The Big Bang Theory, Anything and all Attenborough or Dawkins. Although I read a lot on the internet I'm not hugely into novels but: LotR trilogy, Unfinished Tales, The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Magician, The Origin of Species, The Naked Ape and random things like The Decision Book. So Interest wise if you can't tell, I'm kind of a 'geek'. I've been known to be a bit of a gamer, although these days I tend not to (they take up far too much time from the important things)! I listen to music a lot although I'm not hugely into modern bands. I'm a big U2 fan, especially their earlier stuff. I like 80's, some 70's. Elvis, Johnny Cash, Queen, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, R.E.M, Strangely enough The Pixies, even though I normally would hate anything clashy. More modernly I like The Killers, some Radiohead and at the moment quite into Sigur Rós; an Icelandic band and a Swedish band called Kent. Kind of random but I'm also learning Swedish, although not fluent yet. I love animals, especially dogs and more especially large breeds. I want a mastiff one day. I'm interested in nature and general science. I'd like to say I'm into hiking/countryside/camping and travel but so far these have only manifested as thought. LOL. I like walking, sometimes I just go wandering. I find it relaxing. I also enjoy exercise, Infact I used to be a fitness Instructor once upon a time. I have recently restarted weight training which was once a great pion of mine and is going well. Although I look pretty average these days. I don't look like a bodybuilder or anything yet.
