Oh yeah, if you havent heard yet, electrons are tiny, tiny bits of matter. Yes, matter, as in the the substance or substances of which any physical object consists or is composed: the matter of which the earth is made. Now when electrons are shot ONE AT A TIME, towards a barrier with 2 slits and a board behind to measure where it hits, something unexplainable happens. (Double Slit Experiment) The electron performs like a wave and goes thru both slits! It gets even weirder, based on mathematical equations, it goes not only thru both, but also thru neither, it goes thru one and it goes thru the other. However, when scientists put a camera (observer), to watch right by the slits to see which one it actually goes thru, the electron went back to acting like matter and only went thru one or the other! Wait, the electron, a tiny, tiny, bit of matter, was acting like a wave but when observed, acted like matter, BUT WHY?
