Oh boy.. where to begin. Let's see, I live in Chicago, in the Loop. I just graduated from college last year and joined a R&D lab, so I've been doing fun stuff since August (Wow, it's already been half a year).
Occasionally I'm a hypocrite and sometimes a dilettante. No examples come to mind right now, but just letting you know so it's not a surprise later on. A few things about me, I've kinda become a workout addict recently. I could talk for hours spewing out tidbits about health but I try to restrain myself. My most recent accomplishment: 18 pullups in a row :-D If health doesn't interest you at all.. you should just move on. On yoga: I think yoga is for girls, hippies, health-nuts, or brown people. I'm brown so it's all good.
I graduated with a CS degree.. so yeah, I nerd-speak on occasion. I enjoy science in general so I'd prefer a lady that I can talk technology with. I'm not very "cultured" or into politics though.. so I'll listen but probably won't have anything to contribute to the conversation. However, I do enjoy long contemplative talks about life and somewhat philosophical talks (but mostly nonsense) like whether it's wrong to kill a robot if it could "feel". Oh, I also watch anime. Just putting it out there. People that don't watch anime think anime-watchers are really weird. I'm more of a light/moderate one. Kind of like a social drinker.
Talking about drinking.. I haven't had a drink since I turned 21 (that doesn't mean I've never had alcohol though, hehe). But this automatically excludes me from the bar-going and partying circles. I might change my mind on this later.
I'd like to think I have decent English grammar unlike the new Internet-brain-washed generations. For example, I know the difference between "your" and "you're". I would say "Your gles suggest that you're a geek." Or maybe "You're going to throw up if you don't put down your gl." And such and such.. Hopefully, you know the difference too.
Music: I love alternative rock (Incubus, Coldplay, Linkin Park), punk rock (Green Day), hip hop (Kid Cudi), clical (George Gershwin), smooth jazz (Sade), random (NIN, Ratatat, Deadmau5). I used to be a percussionist and played the drums (was in a band in college for short while, we mostly played Coldplay, Our Lady Peace, and a few originals).
Movies: The Prestige, The Man from Earth (if you’ve seen this we have to talk), many, many more...
Profession: Researcher
