I am trying to live each day with intention... Trying to be a good mother.... a good friend... a good sister... a good person! I'm a teacher... I love my work with children and families... I have been teaching for well over 30 years. The last 10 years with Head Start! I work with a diverse group of families that come with their own unique challenges. I'm an artist... I make... sell and teach Mosaics. For the last several years I have been obsessed with the art of mosaics! It is all I have on my brain! ;-) Every spare moment is working on pieces or dreaming up new ideas! I look forward to the summer so that I can spend all my time creating! I love where I live which is the country. I have several animal companions... that are a big part of my life... I enjoy more natural surroundings. I like the city... but I would rather spend my time in the mountains or on the beach... or just spend a cozy evening watching a movie and being warmed by a fire. I have three children. My daughter is in high school this year. She is a good student and loves playing sports. We are very close and enjoy our time together. Although her social life is far better than mine (part of the reason I am doing this)! My boys are on their own life path and I try to guide them from the sidelines... I have been single for a very long time. I have filled my life with my children and my interests... but it is time now for a "personal life"... To share myself with someone... To think about the needs of someone else... To live a rich and healthy life with someone. To have secrets again... and share sly smiles... To go and do things that are new and interesting. To do just the old familiar things again... Cooking for someone... laughing over an inside joke... Sleeping with someone... sharing "space"... ;-) Just being! I don't need the moon... I just want to share it with someone again...
