Hello, and welcome to my profile!
I am looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. I've learned how to be alone, but I still don't like it.
I'm very loving and enjoy intimacy, but it has to be with the right person. I like to go very slow building physical intimacy. Too fast will scare me away. Sex is nice, but good conversation is more important to me in a relationship than just about anything else.
I love to talk about politics, philosophy, psychology, human developmnet, history, scientific discoveries, and art... lots of art. I'm particularly fond of ceramic art and would love to do it myself someday. I have dabled in it off and on. I have been into the Impressionists for many years, but recently I've been developing a taste for Modern Art. I'm currently enjoying Kandiksky and Mondrian. I like Chagall alot too.
I would like to go cross country skiing this winter. I love foreign and independent films.
I am an atheist and a peacenick. I plan to vote for Hillary.
I worked for Puget Power for 18 years, ending in '96. I worked up from the computer department and got into managing and buying and selling energy resources. I left Puget to go back to school to be a teacher. I had some lofty aspiration of saving the world from itself. Turned out that riding herd on 25 8 year olds wasn't my cup of tea. So wandered into a position managing high volume IT hardware and software contracts for Washington's Community and Technical Colleges for about 7 years. Nov 07 I started a new job as a Purchasing Agent at Boeing. I buy airplane parts now. HA! Working in the college system was ok, but I'm glad to be back in a corporate environment where there are tangible goals and tasks to be accomplished.
I would like to live greener than I am, but I don't have the skills to build a green house or a solar system. I would rather do it with a partner. I'll hand you the hammer and sandwiches, and if it's a micro brew, I'll join you for a beer!
Profession: Purchasing Agent for Boeing!
