Please meet ALL of the following qualifications:
Be between the ages of 66 & 72; A NON-SMOKING, NATIVE-BORN CAUCASIAN AMERICAN, with a photo posted of your FACE.
Oh, and I don't 'DO' casual. Looking long term only.
If you don't match ALL of this, don't expect a reply. Sorry.
I am a short, Reubenesque, long-time widow of Italian descent, but I am all American.
I have one son who is married, without children.
My interests include, but are not limited to:
Family/friends, Oldies or Country music/concerts, Computer/Board Games, Walks on a beach or in a park, Long rides to nowhere, Reading, Word Puzzles, Dancing, Karaoke, Volunteering, Dogs, Hoping to eventually move to Arizona, Would like to RV travel all around the USA.
I'm not into sports, but you can be.
I am willing to shoot a game of pool, but don't bowl because I might break a nail...LOL.
I can swing a hammer, wield a paintbrush, know how to use most other tools correctly, and even know the basics about what goes on under the hood of my car.
I like older cars where you could tell the brand just by seeing them them drive by. Newer cars all look the same to me.
When it comes to music, I like both rock and country - and both preferably from the 50's and 60's.
About the one I'm looking for...
If you DO meet the above, please keep reading:
I'm looking for a man of integrity; one whose outward behavior reflects his inner personal values. A man who possesses the following characteristics: faithfulness; loyalty; honesty; devotion; trust and spirituality - because all are essential to building a successful partnered relationship. Remember the TV show 'Roseanne'? Well, my son used to say it must have been written about me because her personality was so much like mine. The major difference between us was that she was fortunate enough to have 'Dan Conner' for a husband, and by then I was already a widow. Dan was her true partner. No matter what life threw at them, they stood and faced it together - as full-fledged team players should. I am looking for my very own 'Dan Conner." I want someone who will stand beside me no matter what hand life deals us. I want someone who is a gentleman, as well as a gentle man; someone who is respectful, as well as respectable. Are you that man? Can you possibly be MY 'Dan Conner?'
I'd just like to add...
I flunked sharing in kindergarten. I won't ever ask you to share me with another man, so please don't ask me to share you with another woman.
I won't 'take a number' for any man - because no man is so wonderful that I'd ever be willing to get in a line to await my 'turn'. Not gonna happen. This is the one case where half a loaf is definitely NOT better than none.
I'd rather be alone forever than to have to share my man with someone else, so don't ever ask it of me.
Time
The clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop,
Be it at a late or early hour.
Now is the only time you own,
So live, love, and toil with a will,
And place no faith in time,
For the clock may soon be still.
None of us knows how much time we have left. Let's make the best of whatever time the Good Lord is still willing to give us, because none of us is getting any younger.
