Woo Hoo !!!!!
After 40 years of marriage and 2 1/2 years of separation, I'm finally a free woman. Woo Hoo!!!! When I left, I bought a place of my own near where I work and am quite happy here. In my younger days I worked in offices but now am a cashier. It isn't the most intellectually challenging work, but it sure is fun because I am a people person. I'm also looking forward to when I can retire in two years and have more time to enjoy life.
My three wonderful children live on their own. One lives in this town and two live in the Napa Valley. I enjoy going to visit them when I can. Family is very important to me.
I have a strong personal faith in God but I don't force it upon others and some would say I am too liberal.
Friendship and someone to do things with such as picnics, walks, hiking, dinner, plays, target practice, movies or perhaps even camping or learning to fish are things I am looking forward to. Being peacefully quiet with someone you care about is wonderful too. I love to read and debate ideas. Affection is very important to me.
When the time is right, I hope to find a man who will treat me like a princess and he will be my prince. He will be intelligent, trustworthy, a good conversationalist, a man who has a sense of humor and who sees the gl as half-full, a man who would like to try new adventures with me and understands that many experiences will be new and exciting to me, a man who likes a variety of music, and a man who sees his woman as his equal yet will be protective and take the lead with her. A one-woman man is a must.
At present, learning to trust and develop friendships is first on my agenda.
Oh, and I plan to go skydiving this year!!!
