I am 40 years old and I am employed as a programmer/metal fabricator here in NM,. I am hoping by posting this to meet someone to share my spare time with, I really don't have much of a social life LOL because I am really not into the bar scene. I have a BA degree in computer programming with a minor in engineering. I am looking to meet someone that would enjoy going out to dinner and catching a movie, or even just a walk in the park. I have recently gotten frustrated with this online thing (kind of seems like the bar scene without the personal interaction) but I am willing to be patient enough to give it a real chance. I am hoping that someone special in my area is going to read my profile and see that we have a lot or at least some things in common. In the past I was never the risk taker or the the guy that really took a chance until 6 years ago. I went back to school full time as well as working a full time job to obtain my degree. It has paid off for my career, but lately I know there is something missing in my life. I have been wondering lately, why am I working so hard and not have that someone special to share it with. I am a very patient and understanding person. I am also the type of person who does not care in the least what has happened in the past. The past is the past, but the future could be great if you are as willing as I am to TAKE A CHANCE and SEE WHAT THE FUTURE CAN BRING.
