I have had some thrilling moments in my life. Going to the West Indies and experiencing the different cultures on different Islands was a highlight. A friend and I went on a shark dive which was an adrenaline rush if there ever was one. I've also been to Hawaii, and the Hana Highway was fantastic. Waterfalls, amazing ocean views. Snorkling was also great thre. Florida is always a great vacation spot because of the deep sea fishing, the theme parks (Universal especially during Halloween) and fun at the beach. I love boating, and know my way around small boats on the river. I have also gone to many of the National Parks in the United States such as Yellowstone, Sequoia, and love the mountains such as the Rockies. I have been to Mt Rainer and did some hiking there. There was a time when I played in a band. It was a great experience. Music is a big part of my life and I'm into Progressive Rock bands such as RED, DISTURBED, SHINEDOWN, etc, and soft rock artists like Sara Mclaughlin, Toto, etc. Movies, I forgot movies. As my profile name represents, I'm really into the special effects movies and as a collector of comics as a kid, I'm looking forward to the new Ironman 2 coming out next year. I like most any type of movie. I'm a fan of abstract art. Its interesting to try to understand the underlying messages the artist is trying to say although I'm no professional at it. I enjoy concerts, rock operas, (Jesus Christ Superstar was awesome), Golf and Tennis. (Lets play sometime). I am also a big fan of the water. I enjoy being with my grown sons. They have their own families so my time with them is precious. I've been told I have a fresh since of humor, and enjoy laughing and playing. I'm looking for a kind, sweet woman that would enjoy doing things together. I am a cuddler and like to do little things for a woman. I enjoy laughing and playing around, and I think being a friend is the first step in developing a relationship. I want a relationship that will grow over time and I'm looking for that special character in a woman that looks at me and I can feel her charm and inner beauty. First Date: It depends on what the other person enjoys. The riverfront is a great place to go to because there is always something happening there and there is some great restaurants. I would want to get to know the person better and taking walks or going to scenic places to talk would be a good first date. If the first date went well, going to a concert, or comedy club would be fun. I'm up for just about any type of fun, even a nice romantic evening at home with a good movie and pizza.
