I'm very sarcastic, and European... and looking for a guy² around my age (25+ to 30-ish) for a relationship, not the kind that would involve U-Hauls and going to Walmart together, calling each other "Baby" among other things, but nice dates (my idea of a nice date being going to Hoek's Death Metal Pizza) where you laugh and discuss books, movies... (the whole concept of an American date is pretty foreign to me, I have to admit, but cultural differences are an interesting starting point). I'm not a very conventional girl, I'm into piercings, tattoos, horror movies, metal and the like, but I'm also serious: I read, paint watercolors (no, not ones involving little landscapes and pretty flowers), and write weird blurbs about myself on this website. Sigh. Sic transit gloria mundi, as they say. Although my time in Austin is counted (I'm only staying for another 6 months), I would like to meet someone nice, intelligent, open-minded and sarcastic too... (which would be better than someone ugly, dumb, and uneducated, even if they are rich or possess books about linguistics, cats or some obscure subject I'm into at that moment). Witticism is a way of life for me, but I probably don't even have to add that one, seeing that no one read so far. I also smoke, have a cat, a great job that I love, and a pretty diverse social life. I'm very frank, even blunt sometimes but I hope it's a plus... Let's just say I have a hard time dealing with coating in sugar like "OOoh, I like her very much and she's a great person but..."; this is--to me-- very American, and funny, but of course, I make do when survival is at stake. If all this made you half-smile at least, shoot me an email, I don't usually bite. Well, a half-smile would be great, seeing how unfunny I am, but well, if you were at least half-interested (or even interested)... As you can see, I can also torture Siamese cats and wear goofy make up on a dating website, which make me versatile. ²By the way, how come you can't select both men and women in the little "edit your profile" menu ? I mean, do you have to create 2 accounts if you're looking for both men AND women ? Even for friendship ? Something is rotten in the state of... well, menus and bisexuality.
