I'm not going to write about myself in here for one reason: People have a warped perception of themselves. That's why self-summaries are flawed. There is no way someone can give an objective description of themselves without getting someone else to write it. For example, did you know Hitler probably thought highly of himself? What do you think his profile would look like on here? "I'm determined and goal-oriented. I'm a natural leader and charismatic. I'm also a vegetarian." I'm sure you girls would love anyone else with that profile. That being said, there are three possibilities for the profiles and their respective writers. 1) The profile is treated like an advertit and it makes the reader think the writer is something more than he or she really is. 2) The writer has a low opinion of his or herself and the reader cannot see how truly wonderful the writer really is. 3) The writer combats the first two with ambiguity and writes "Just ask." which doesn't really motivate the reader to "just ask". However, the irony of all this is that I'm writing "just ask", only I'm doing it in 1192 brilliant characters. Feel free to count them, just don't forget to include the spaces.
