I mean anybody can create a profile saying they are 18, but how do we really know they are 18 or older? |

Who guarantees that everyone who claims to be a man is a man, or a woman a woman? Who guarantees that "a few extra pounds" isn't 400? Who guarantees that the guy with 7 college degrees isn't a bum living in his mom's basement? Who guarantees that everybody you write to will write you back?
There are NO guarantees here. I guess the age thing could be an issue if you were planning on actually meeting someone. I'm not, so it's not really a consideration. It's no skin off my nose if some 16-year-old wants to pretend to be 25, anymore than it is that a 60-year-old is pretending to be 20. They're all just facades to me, just slightly less real to me than Homer Simpson.... |

....And we're going to watch this low pressure as it starts to develop way out here in the Caribbean. Looks like a little addition of some warm water moisture and a nudge from the jet stream and this could form into a decent sized tropical storm and perhaps a hurricane... |
