would you rescue a spider stuck inside the tub if you were about to turn the faucet on? Actually happened to me a few days ago. I looked up and saw a spider on the ceiling above the shower. I screamed, ran out the shower, put on clothes while still wet (screw finding a towel), grabbed my daughter (who was in shock at mommy's behaviour) and bolted out the front door and went from apartment to apartment looking for a big strong guy to come kill the spider. Called some people, finally got a guy to come kill it, and after he kills it he brings it out to show me. I screamed so hard and ran so quick I accidentally knocked my daughter to the ground. Oops.... She got tons of ice cream and McDonald's and a mini shopping spree at Wal-Mart for that. You would think knocking her down would be punishment enough, but noooooooo she takes her shopping at Wal Mart, too! OMFG! You had me choking on my Cinnamon Toast Crunch! My daughter loves Wal-Mart! She calls it Kissmas Shopping. (when I first moved to Kansas, the only way my sister and I could get her to get out of the car was to tell her we are going Christmas Shopping. Well, she was only 2 and so she would say, "Kissmas Shopping") It's better than her daily shopping spree at the Dollar Tree if she was a good girl in preschool! |

Not really, cause you would have been squished by a huge ape of a man, honey. |

Yes. I've actually rescued them from the water, too. Spiders are good karma.

Sometimes, if I am really pissed off at the fact that I think these spiders are laughing at me, and I see one, I go to the kitchen, grab a cup, go back to the bathroom, look at the mutha trucking spider still giggling at me, fill the cup with hot water......
And make me some tea and go back to the living room and call up my sister and ask if I can go bathe at her house. Y'ALL THOUGHT I WOULD DROWN THAT SON OF A MOTHER IN HOT WATER, DIDN'T YOU? Come on, it isn't the middle ages anymore. We have RAID for that. |
