Topic: To Get To Heaven | |
---|---|
nor work nor deeds shall get you in the Kingdom of heaven. If you confess with you mouth that Jesus is alive and sits on the right hand of God and believe in you heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved Romans 10:9 Confessing with your mouth sounds like a deed. |

curious as to why does it matter if someone doesn't believe in heaven or hell..or the "christian" heaven or hell
shouldn't what you believe be what matters? if you don't believe...does it make a difference? just curious |

whatever after life....if any....someone believes in...wouldn't they would think they would go there? The empty vessel makes the loudest noise.... let us quote a passages from the book of Papa Roach. this passage is from the chapter (album) Infest and the verse(song) called Tightrope.. There is a thin line between what's good and what is evil And I will tiptoe down that line but, I will feel unstable My life is a circus, and I am tripping down that tightrope Well there is nothing to save me now so, I will not look down PAPA ROACH!! music to race by!! |

If there is truly only one way to get to heaven and that way is through Jesus, then what about all of the people in this world who die without ever learning of Jesus?
Just a question... |

Ya know, I usually follow you well, but I do not comprehend what it is you are saying this time. Could you clarify that some? EDIT: Nevermind... You beat me to it! |

all men are met at the judgement, but not all are christian.
Christians with the Holy Spirit are already judged. Receiving it is the judgement. We, the church in truth, are holy to God and separate from the whole of heaven. A different dispensation of the grace and mercy of God. Paul understood it and layered it into everything he said with a careful choice of words. Jesus, likewise. It is there and intact. It lays dormant and unnoticed because most people don't read carefully. Not even preachers |

I don't believe that there's anybody in the world who passes away without hearing about the way to heaven at least once.
I believe that's why it's important for people to testify as to their experiences and beliefs. The more the Lord is lifted up, the more chances people get to hear about him. My reasoning's this: is a propensity greater to accept this if someone hears once or if someone hears 10 times. Is your understanding greater with one explanation or multiples? And, in a way, you're right about something in all of us. I believe that God has created a curiosity about eternity in everyone's heart. |

When someone asks a question such as this I think of a Christian, German concentration camp guard at Auschwiz in 1944. He has a loving family who he takes to church every Sunday without fail. On this day, he is leading a family of Jews to their deaths in the gas chamber. Here's where things get confusing for me. According to the bible, all the German guard must do is accept Jesus as his savior and the son of god and ask for forgiveness of this terrible sin of multiple murders of innocent victims, and he will dwell in heaven forever when he dies after living a long and fruitful life. The innocent Jewish family, however, because they don't believe just as the German does, after having their lives cut miserably short and not allowed to bring up children have, grandchildren and enjoy the other niceties of life like the German will enjoy, will burn in hell for eternity. That's just sick man.

So, if you believe in Hevean and Hell what do you think. For one to enter "the kingdom of hevean" does one have to be christian? one has to be Jewish |

No one inherits heaven. The earth is where eternity will be spent as far as we are told. as far as going to hell. Nowhere does it say we have a immortal soul. Yahshua did say do not fear them who can destroy the body. fear him who can destroy body and soul. Hell is total destruction. And Yahshua is the only one who resides in Heaven at this time who was born on earth. Blessings...Miles

1Thessalonians 4:13-18.
But I would not have you be ignorant , brtheren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. 1 Corinthians 15:50-53. Now this I say, brethren,(Paul is speaking to the Church here) that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortality shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
