To live is to die,
To die is to live, The echo of these words Is something before heard, But said in a different way By one who's truth does not sway. On this let the light shed, For it is Jesus that once said, "Whoever finds his life will lose it" "Whoever loses his life for my sake finds it" Now what exaclty did he mean? Is it a truth that was meant to be unseen? Did it mean our lives we should literally take? Or that everything fun we should forsake? I do not think any of those were his reasons I think he meant abstain from spiritual treason. Meaning that we are all living in a war, And you talk to the enemy no more, He already knows the outcome of the battle, But we tend to run when our life is rattled. We are told that is safer on the other side. So it is to there that we run, but it is a lie. Because he already knows who is going to win, He knows we are safer staying with Him. By staying with Him we will not only survive the war, But we will have peace and we will die no more. |
