So....I was online with this guy and expressing my 'opinion' that it takes time to get to know someone. Therefore it takes time to love someone... so people usually go through the friend stage first while going from point A to point B. And he said NO he doesn't want friendship....he wants true love. Well, when I persued the meaning of that one. He said he wants/believes in love at first sight.

Now I totally believe in LUST at first sight, but how many of you trully believe in LOVE at first sight?

I totally agree with you, girlfriend!! I can tell you that I have gotten into more trouble not taking the time to get to know a guy before deciding I was in love with him. I believe seriously that you have to take at least a year getting to know each other before making any kind of serious life changes for each other. Who is in THAT much of a hurry that they can't take the time to make sure that person is THE one for them? I'm certainly not!! Right on!!

I see first sight as the trigger, but the bullet still has to hit it's mark to make a true bullseye. Only experience, practice and trajectory determine the outcome...that's why we're all still at the shooting range.

Either way you look at it, love is a difficult thing for anyone to realize. It requires a number of variables to flow perfectly together, which in and of itself is a near impossibility. Thus love is a near impossibility.

Just ask him, if he does....'Why?'

Make him think about what those words mean to him... and have him convey what this love thing means to him.

All you have to do is say Thankyou...

It is an expression of emotion, not an obligation, and the sooner people realise that the words I love you, is not an obligation, the sooner people can get on with being humans.
