Yippy skippy!!! I started my vacation officailly today, tomorrow I fly out and am headed to Ga. to visit some friends of mine I haven't seen in 20 plus years. I'm so exicited and trying to figure out what to pack. But here's the dilemma...I haven't flown in god knows how long and with the security measures they have in place these days.....what are the do's and don'ts of what you can and can not be taken with you. Any suggestons guys? I've heard so many different stories....somebody HELP

Check on the website with the company that you are flying with....it will be on there or TSA's site....wear loose comfy clothes and shoes that's easy to take off....Good luck and safe travels!!!

My advice is wear slip-on shoes and no liquids in the carry on bags. And get ot the airport early. Last time I flew, there was a wait to get through security. I guess it depends on the time of day.

Last time I flew, (over a year ago), they allowed stuff like toothpaste, handlotion, and so on...but only in like 2 oz. amounts and all had to be in a ziploc baggie. But checking airline website is a good idea. Travel well, have a safe flight and tons of fun once you get there!

To make it easy...
Dont bring any kind of liquid with your carry-on. Its a short flight so that shouldnt be hard. Wear shoes that are easy to get on and off. Dont wear alot of metal objects...so as not to set off the metal detectors and your not sitting there for 10 minutes taking off jewlry. |

thanks for the Ga. weather update. You're right on the money with Atlanta. Got the packing started but my cat has decided to take a snooze in the suitcase at the moment
It's coming together slowly....and I'll no doubt just check everything that way I won't have hassles about what to take on the plane except me, myself and I.
