 Why do they drown everything else out lollaugh . For example, my last boyfriend would come over and i thought to see me lol but when football or basketball is on, he and my dad would get so into it and just dont pay attention to me or what my mom has to say lol. im going somewhere with this, i guess my question is do all guys go in a "state of sports" lol cos it gets annoying well for me anyways. This might be a really bad topic lol but id like someof ur feedback. :tongue

when i was younger, my neighbor her dad was a huge football fan, and you would be outside and hear him yelling, and you would know he was watching his game

FOOTBALL... GO COLTS drinker

I tend to forget that there are others around me and life is still moving forward when the Colts are playing laugh
The only time someone can experience me sitting for (almost) 3 hrs. straight, is when I'm watching the Colts play!!

So, I guess I understand the guys... unless of course they do this with every sport imaginable (then there's an issue). grumble

I do this myself but only with soccer and I always make sure that I'm watching it with other people who are the same. I would rather miss a game than have somebody sitting next to me who was not interested in it because its just a huge distraction and you need to concentrate on whats happening in the game. I usually only watch 2 games per week which is only about 4 hours, I wouldn't have any interest in watching a game that doesn't involve the team I support.

I love soccer, when my youngest daughter (soon to be 11) is playing. She's been playing for 2 yrs., once we found out that she is a natural soccer player and is so dedicated to the sport; she plays indoor soccer during off season and outdoor during spring and fall. She went to tournament once again this past season (indoor); she and her team mates ended up winning the championship. Go BABY GIRL flowerforyou However, I don't watch soccer on tv, but when she's playing, I think people focus more on me pacing and yelling on the side-lines, than they are concerned about what their child/team mates are doing huh WoooHoooo.. her outdoor soccer season starts in a week.. Ohhh, how I feel for the people surrounding me laugh

This is a good point.. but I myself (being a woman), can't imagine sitting around watching unrealistic drama all hrs. of the afternoon. I can do it once in a great while (maybe one soap) but one after another.. never!

I've found that tuning out anyone for anything is a mistake. I hope to listen to whoever I'm with from now on. And if I'm doing the tune out thing, I figure the third time they say something to me means it's serious and I should listen up. Even the second time even.

But the Colts absolutely rock. I hope they have another good season. What a thrill the last few have been!

I watch footie(soccer) constantly and when I'm in a relationship, I often have to tape games and watch them late at night or somewhere along those lines, it works tho! there's never been problems.

I don't think I can explain it. I am that way. I am just very focused on all the action, cause I don't wanna miss anything. I am the same way with movies.
