I'm sry I'm new here, but I have to give my input on this. Try being married for 16 yrs. and have a husband that would rather have girlfriends than a wife. I know first hand he's no friend when 1 of his girlfriends show up & knock on your door. Now that's a slap in the face. Bren

So how many people in here are still good friends with their ex... i know with me i have not had a lot of g/f's and was engaged once, but i am still pretty good friends with most, except for 1, who broke up with me by leaving a message on my answering machine saying she had been cheating on me for 2 months, and never wanted to see me again. One of my best friends is an ex-gf who is now married with 2 kids. We weren't good "relationship material" for each other --she was obsessed with the idea of "domesticating" me, which was never going to work -- but she's a truly great person, one who is always there for her friends and who I dearly love. Some people do think it's a little strange that we're so close now, so many years after we dated, but people with great qualities are going to have those qualities whether you're dating them or not. |
