Mayan's, not concrete proof. All this day marks is the end of the baktun for the Mayan calendar, indeed it is quite odd that it doesn't continue into the next baktun (13.0.0.0), however this could be because of many reasons. There are a lot of things predicted to happen in 2012, but how many end of days can one world have? I knew I would see you here!

I liked Deep Impact better than Armegeddon... That tsunami wave was awesome special effects...

If the end is coming (and I doubt it) then it's coming. There's nothing we can do to stop it, and to be honest I doubt that it is 2012. It'll happen but I doubt we'll actually know the year that it'll happen.
