Think it was made in WW2 as meat was hard to get hold of...Thats what I have been told anyway.....Still tastes like Sh*t to me. would like to know what the hell its made of...

As far as I know thats not true. The meat they use is of higher quality then hot dogs. On a side note the Spam website says that this month is Spam month |

Fry it and eat it like a burger...yummy. What is it made of does anyone know? do we wanna know?? Spam has that odd smell...and there is that jelly stuff all over it... Spam reminds me of a science project. |

Do a search for Spam ingreadients and you can see what it's made of. Pork shoulder, water, salt, etc. There's lots of fun facts on the internet.

They love it in Hawaii and Korea. My stepbrother made a dish with it at a catering affair in Hawaii and the people went crazy with praise. The stuff went so fast he had to get more of it and they want it for next time. Who woulda thunk! And they got a Spam musical on Broadway now, I think. Based on the Monty Python stuff. Yashafox, the name of the musical on Broadway was from a line in one of the songs from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." It's called "Spamalot." The name of the song is "The Knights of The Round Table" We're Knights of the Round Table, We dance whene'er we're able, We do routines and chorus scenes With footwork impeccable. We dine well here in Camelot, We eat ham and jam and spam a lot. We're Knights of the Round Table, Our shows are formidable, But many times, we're given rhymes That are quite unsing-able. We're Opera mad in Camelot, We sing from the diaphragm a loooot. In war we're tough and able, Quite indefatigable, Between our quests we sequin vests, And impersonate Clark Gable. It's a busy life in Camelot, I have to push the pram a lot. (okay......can you tell I'm having fun looking up things tonight )
