Cutting was fine. The job is closed due to an idiot rolling a D9. Apparently it rolled twice, and the idiot wasn't wearing his seatbelt. I was on the other side of the job. Didn't know anything was wrong untill the helocopter came in. The guy has crushed legs and internal injuries. But should make it okay.

What's a D9? I'm not familiar with logging terms and equipment. Are there other people on this same site doing the same thing you're doing? And how do you haul all this stuff out? Is that your responsibility or is there someone else contracted to come get the trees? |

D9 is an old Bulldozer that alot of companies out here use to clear roads and landings. All I do is cut the trees. Once its on the ground, I don't give a rat's tail what happens. And, I was the only cutter contracted. But with safty investigations and all. There will probably be atleast one more.The company has two articulated "skidders" Which will drag the trees up to the landing. There the loggs are loaded to log trucks.
