I don't care if I sound mopy or like I am looking for pity or any crap like that, but why do typically nice guys finish last? Because a good number of women are co-dependent by nature and crave drama of any and all forms, that's why. They'd rather live their lives like they're on some second-rate soap opera than have a stable relationship with a fella who won't give them two black eyes because they had been told twice. It isn't until they get older that they decided to want some more stability in their lives, but it's often too late by then. |

It isn't until they get older that they decided to want some more stability in their lives, but it's often too late by then. I don't mean for what I've said to be inflammatory, either- it's just coming from things I've seen and even experienced over time. Example- I've been getting e-mails from former female classmates of mine lately looking to "get re-acquainted" via a coffee date, etc. And this would be fine, if they had given me the time of day back IN the day, which they didn't. But now that they're no longer the prom queen who's been lusted after by all the fellas and after they've been dumped by too many "bad boys" over the years, they NOW decide that they want to settle down by hooking up with someone who didn't waste his high school years being a douchebag. So they come calling after me, who was the proverbial skinny (and abnormally-tall) geeky kid back in school- they expect me to run to them like a puppy while they practically ignored me, simply because of those old high-school memories. It's just too bad (for them, that is) that I know better than to be the fella who has to deal with the "sloppy seconds". |

Upland you can smack me. Maybe I'll crawl through the computer screen and smack you instead of kiss you. Don't threaten me with a good time. Rock of Love |

OK Moof, now I know what to tell you the next time you wonder why you are still single!! (just kidding - sort of) Define "good number", though. |
