Topic: Devil children | |
---|---|
I USED to wonder if my child was a spawn of the devil delivered through my loins, but I got her straightened out and she has a heart of gold and a true belief and trust in God. No more fear !!!

IT IS THE PARENTS. kID GOES BAD, THEY WANT TO BLAME EVERTHING ELSE INSTEAD OF LOOKING IN THE MIRROR. Cap lock on

So the problem is the Parent. Not, Cable,Computers,Fast Food,Drugs,Money,Movies,Schools, or Sex? Absolutely...lack of parenting |

it's all about how they are raised.....yes some need more discipline but in my opinion if the parents are afraid of their children they need to get help in how to handle them and there is nothing wrong with getting help.

So the problem is the Parent. Not, Cable,Computers,Fast Food,Drugs,Money,Movies,Schools, or Sex? Absolutely...lack of parenting you can't be with the kids 24/7 and hopefully you raised them right....but kids do things away from parents. I think as long as the parents actually parent when it happens then they are doing right. it's the ones that don't care or blame others that should get held responsible with the child |

In most cases the parent is the problem, but getting the belt or whacking or any other abuse phisical abuse is not the solution...
You want to beat up on a kid you can be sure that kid will be afraid to come to you about there problems |

I would doubt that the 40% figure is accurate but yes there are some kids that parents are, and should be, afraid of. I would not necessarily say it all falls at the parents feet. You can raise a polite, well behaved kid and once they hit the world starting with the the TV then the school system parents loose a lot of control. Often their teachings are drowned out by people telling them that their parents are to fault for their bad behavior when the consequences need to fall at the feet of the child or the adults who lead them to out of control behavior by not requireing any respect or self control. I see this is families that are split by divorce or distance where non-custodial, grandparents, or day care providers or teachers who delude themselves into thinking in 6-8 hours a day they are surrogate parents and have the right to dog the parents that are there 24/7..

I think parents are out of control...kids watch us.
Our children are our only hope for the future, but we are their only hope for their present and future |

its not the kids who have the problem its the parents not getting off there arse and taking control...if my son back answers or goes over the boundaries he gets told and apologises for his behaviour Good for you Debbie (and him), I agree, it's our job as parents to set the boundries and be consistant, of course it's a balancing act to be firm and clear with our expectations, and yet understanding and forgiving too, because just as we have our job, the kids, being inexperienced and and likely to learn by example from their peers or even the popular culture, will naturally test those boundries. I think way too many parents rule by their moods instead of by well thought out principles. |

I believe they are,,,
I work with adolescents and I know that parents don't know what to do anymore,, the negative peer pressure is very strong out there and even if the parent is raising their child the correct manner teaching them right from wrong, and loving them unconditionally the peer pressure is stronger, things are not like back in the days, now is the adolescents out there, and they can be very cruel but there is always hope,,,some of us are working hard to make a difference!! |

ADD, ADHD, OCD, ODD....pick an acronym....
Attention deficit disorder....(not ALL diagnosed, however, a high proportion, of misdiagnosed) the kids are deficient in attention...like a vitamin deficiency...attention from their primary carers... so what do we do? Drug them...yep that will fix them... |
