If you have the $ you can get guns anywhere Deb huh, where did drugs come from??? am i missing something?? i live in a really quiet, upperclass area, and there has never been any trouble. if i lived in a rough area, my opinion would probably change.

statistically, people who use guns as a means of protection are at a much higher risk of getting their guns taken away by the bad guys and used to harm them. Not good. law enforcement carry weapons are they getting their guns taken away from them any more than the average citizen? statistics are queistionable they are just numbers. in real life any gun in the wrong hands is a problem and unsafe.

No I was saying that you're not supposed to be able to get drugs either. But there is a drug problem out there.

I do have a permit..and I do carry sometimes..usually at night when im out by myself..my glock is my best friend! how do you get a permit??? sign up and pay for it. But its not really necessary where I live to have a permit thought unless you get caught doing something stupid. Ive had guns since I was a kid. i dont think thats right. you dont hear of many shootings here, i think if everyone had guns you would. when i heard a noise downstairs in my house,i took a can of hairspray for a weapon, lol. spur of the moment thought We have a lot of hunting activity here but not a lot of violent crime or murders

I would like to clarify that any guns I had when I was a kid were family owned hunting rifles. I live in a rural area not in a city.

When the law fails it is your responsibility to shame its inadequacy, that being said I'm for it however I prefer a blade myself.

I have my permit as douse my brother and babysister.Sis carries a snub 357,brothers got a berreta and my preference when I carry is a old blackbowder 44cal,its got the punch of a 357 and the smoke and flame from one even with just blanks will make most think your fireing a canon at them.And if I feel like quick reload shooting I just pull my spare cylinder that or my toris with a speed load.

My hunting rifles I don't think I'd enjoy feeling like I needed to carry a concealed weapon. I'd obviously be in the wrong place. ....now, bust in on my own little JSH room here, and there'd be a problem.......

Having said that...you just proved my point. Any gun in the wrong hands is unsafe and most definitely a problem. Anyone carrying a gun for protection purposes needs to be properly trained and remember that carrying a gun is not a guarantee that you will be safe.
