concealed weapon such as a pistol? I have to answer this yes sometimes I do. It's all according to where I go. My compact 380 Beretta may not put gaping holes in you, but it still stops people! Yes I have a conceal weapons permit and yes i do carry but if you do it right no one knows and its not a problem. I carry a kel tec pf9 it will get the job done just remember go for the head or pelvis shot and it takes more than one shot to take someone down real life isnt like the movies. |

 I got a permit to carry but I dont live in a violent crime prone area so I dont carry that often.

no you should not, and here's why. Most people who carry weapons for safety tend to let their guard down because they think "I've got a gun so if anything happens I'm prepared." This creates a false sense of security and you will not listen to your instincts when you should. Another problem with carrying a weapon is that, statistically, people who use guns as a means of protection are at a much higher risk of getting their guns taken away by the bad guys and used to harm them. Not good. A much better idea, if you're worried about your safety, is to carry a taser. This is a safer means of protecting yourself without you getting killed or seriously harmed, because chances are that you won't kill anyone with a taser. You also tend to be more cautious and aware of your surroundings, limiting the likelihood of needing to protect yourself. I have worked in law enforcement for several years so I do have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. Carrying a gun for protection is almost always a bad idea. Just something to think about.

how do you get a permit??? sign up and pay for it. But its not really necessary where I live to have a permit though unless you get caught doing something stupid. Ive had guns since I was a kid. We have a lot of hunting but not a lot of violent crime

i dont think thats right. you dont hear of many shootings here, i think if everyone had guns you would. when i heard a noise downstairs in my house,i took a can of hairspray for a weapon, lol. spur of the moment thought
