Didn't they used to do blood tests before marriage? what for???? An STD, not sure which one anymore. There are so many out there that are so much worse now. I live in IL. and you don't have to get a blood test here anymore. oh, well only hiv, and syphillis, and hep b and c, are detected by blood tests for a std. Yes I just went and checked. They made these laws in the 1930's when syphillis was big, before penicillin. Today, there is currently eight US states that still require a blood test for disease. |
