im not defending him in any way but you might want to make sure that when you press charges on him that he cant press them on you for hitting him first

If you don't do anything right now..the next time,you will prolly be layin in the ditch somewhere where the cops will find you..not you finding them. Your mom will turn on the nightly news to see that your body was found somewhere..all because you didn't want to sign papers cause you still love someone that thinks it's okay to hit you. Wake up and smell the flowers honey..you need to sign the papers..show the a$$hole that you will NOT stand for being treated like that. You need to make a stand now before he ever hurts you..or someone else ever again.

u can love him..but you don't have to like him... If some one did that to me...there would be no love at all..gone instantly.... 1.he wouldn't know what happened to him..by the hands of my brothers....both being a 3rd degree black belts...but they wouldn't even wimp out with that..he would just get a beating of a life time... 2. i would press charges in a heart beat..... 3. I saw what happened to my mom..right in front of my eyes..then had to take care of her...back then the resources weren't there for woman...she was given a valium and told to rest...imagine that.. 4. as you get older..you will reap th reprocutions of this.... it's not healthy...its quite sad.... 5. i was taught by my brothers to never hit a man...cause you never know....BUT.. YOU didn't deserve to be beat...just as anyone doesn't... 6. you really should think very deeply.....and get rid of the fears...and that so called LOVE WORD...and press charges..... I hope you do what is best for YOU.....think more about YOU....if you don't now...you may never... I wish you the best... I am sorry that this happpened to you... I hope you are ok...considering... Besides the fact that hitting a woman is wrong, I enjoy peeing standing up way too much to even consider hitting a woman. You have to sleep sometime! Gumby that's why I love you!!! Leave him, don't ask questions, press charges and move on with you life... A question and no one freak out I just want the answer... Has he done this before??? |

im not defending him in any way but you might want to make sure that when you press charges on him that he cant press them on you for hitting him first However what he did goes far beyond self defence in the eyes of the law, and any jury,would quickly put a guilty ruling on the issue in her favor. Nowadays woman battery is becoming a serious issue in the eyes of the public, and is not tolerated at all. |

Also...I thought with all the dead abused...that it was a law that the state picked up the charges. They do here. We do not have to do anything. The cops file the report and the state and DA picks up the charges. Kat u would think this would take place state wide....ugggg |

The smack initated the battery (from what I read). However, the beating far exceeds self defense. It's her word against his unless their were witness, which I doubt from what I read. |

There's usually a good reason when the cops offer to have charges pressed, being that they asked her and not him, they obviously saw that he was the aggressor. |

no one know truely wether the smack initiated it or not.... it could have been coming any way..she just got the first smack in... he is a abuser..period..and they are so unpredictable....

no one should have laid a hand on anyone, but you aren't foing anyone any favors by not pressing charges. he went too far and needs to be stopped. but i know the mind set of battered wife and i know it's hard and hard for those never experienced it to understand.
you need to take a stand before this happens to you or anyone else again |
