PS...whatever And the dates you DO end up getting end up living on the other side of the country, which sorta complicates matters. And don't get me started on the borderline-psychotic ones who get incredibly weird when they IM you out of the blue. lmao- or the ones that r self center and think that everything is about them

PS...whatever Find a virtual date and take them to this virtual party. I think it's funny people are so guarded online. Like they are giving up the holy grail even if they send a message to you. How rediculous. I have found out dating and meeting people in person is far easier. Here, you send a thoughtful message showing interest in someone and it goes unanswered. I may as well be a perv and say "hey, you gotta nice set". The end result would be the same.

Eileen, I never actually joined there, I just took their "free 29-point matching personality profile" thingie that was all over the TV for awhile. Somebody told me it's just one way they weed out the "undesirables" from their potential site members. My problem is I'm just not "mainstream" enough for the "mainstream" sites. And the specialized sites are WAY overspecialized -- like "Midget Lesbian Retired Cake Decorator Dating in Uzbekistan" or something. I think that, in order for a dating site to really work for someone, there has to be at least an opportunity for some sort of confluence of beliefs or values or interests, etc., with another person -- and I'm just not seeing that here at all.
