That's actually just an illusion. there are great ladies and gentlemen EVERYWHERE, but there is something that prevents you from seeing the great ones that are close by...

This thing is called the "social circle," sometimes known as the "bubble" or something like that.

Social circles pretty much set reputations and impressions amongst people in stone, and sometimes these impressions have negative elements (especially if you do not completely immerse yourself into the lives of everyone you personally know), which turn reputations stale.

When you break out of the bubble, you give yourself a chance to meet people with FRESH impressions, and it feels a lot better sometimes... so, with the aid of the internet, you get to think that there are all these wonderful people far away from you that you could build a strong, deep connection with...and you think that these connections could not be possible with the people immediately closer to you...when it is actually very possible. It's just that it's hard to break away from impressions and reputations already agreed upon by you and the general consensus of the community.

I dont know if thats true tho, I have been to the bar scene, even got set up, the grocery store thing you know, its a crap shoot, its not about just getting a date, finding someone you know has common interests with, here you can find that without spending hours at clubs or bars, and small talk that goes nowhere, and most ladys here are married or taken, always looking at the left hand, you can find someone here, talk chat,even call, and you find that you may have the same interests, they just seem so far away and I am a romantic at heart: And I am not the party animal type.

I know a few people who feel as I do. was just wondering.

I just want a date!

I find that if distance is a major factor then what else will a person be unwilling to do???? think about it.......
