the earth's castles

nature's castles
the steep ridges
of the canyons
where some have jumped, yes
but where some have looked down

to find more beauty
to fill their vast
eternal soul

I do neither
I climb down
almost slipping
where the journey
to the bottom
would k*ll me
if I had nothing
to hold on to

she spins in space
I spin in space

her sweet gravity
seems an illlusion

and me standing
and me alive

just me

seems also
not real

I've barely touched
the hem of my soul's robe
but how far do I have to go
or maybe like water
I need to rise in the sky
and fall like rain
to nurture

but also for storms
for thunder and lightning
opens my eyes

and now I
will lay
in the meadow
of my beginning

and water
all my vines
all my flowers
yet I will never eat
from my garden
because I know
it is not really mine

and the moon
ah natures god child
lights up my darkness
yet sometimes
even god's lights
cannot shake

my blindness
my loneliness

so I rest
in a deep shadow

learning to love
learning to wait

and knowing
that at times
I cannot see in the fog
so when the fogs covers
me

I will
not look outwards
but in

But well worth it... beautifully written/said. I really like the two seperate pieces theme, that starts at the beginning, and carries through... but, it's so well worded... and, excellent on plays of ideas.
