I bought myself a gold pocket watch the week my divorce was final. I have retired from marraige after 2 of them lasting a total of 20 years.
Been there, done that. Don't want to go there again.

It sure hasn't scared off any of the many people writing to me. :tongue: laugh laugh laugh

That is most likely because at this point in my life, I am being my most genuine self and looking to find my best friend and lover - a companion - most than anything else. Potential mates can sense that.

Yes, I'm going to do the right thing for me and mine. That takes a bit of time (not too long!) and careful consideration. I'm not turned off to marriage, but open to it. I'm not invested in "a relationship" at all costs - but I want potential partners to know what my mindset is. Seeking the best person more than the piece of paper.
