OK ... not that we want to put a downer on the day BUT I agree with Catch
 .. call the schools , babysitters, grocery stores POST OFFICE .. call anyone who will listen .. make him step up and be a DAD or tell him to PUCK right off .. the girls WILL forgive you when they are older and realize it all .. I grew fatherless, and I am no worse off for it ... ok alittle looney BUT

Fresh, let them know he is out just in case.
I would just tell him if he cares for them to not upset their lives until he has his **** together... Play on the part that they will always love him, he will always be their "father" 
BUTTTT!! It is too hard on them blah blah... Call their school & daycare please! Because they think he is locked up right? Just for my piece of mind!
