ive always been independent, ive always had to be, ive never had that luxury of having someone else to depend on or someone to fall back on. why do people just expect you to support them, take care of them, etc....i would never ask anyone to pay my way in life...i wouldnt ask someone to pay my fair share, let alone expect someone else to pay theirs and mine too!!! WTF is with that? Because people with good self esteems think like you do, and people who are dregs of society let someone take care of them, or it is a matter of poor upbringing... It is also a narcissistic(sp?) entitlement that some people think they are...well, entitled to.... I have worked since I was 15.... I went to college and worked 3 jobs to do it...so the people who sit at home and whine about not being able to go to college....bullsh*t. |

I have always come across people who are what you call "Moochers" and I get sick of it and finally I put my foot down and I will no longer except it!! I have always been independant ever since I was a little girl and I have never had to rely on someone else to take care of me and my family knows that if I ask for something then I really need it but I hate to ask. I also don't want a man to take care of me but I tend to ttake care of them wich gets tiring as well!! I had a roommate that did nothing but sit on his ass all day long and try to control what went on in my house and then got a little to comfortable with me and decided that he was going to try and put his hands on me...Hahahaha "WRONG" I had to whoop his skinny little ass I don't play when it comes to things like that...Been there done that!! I kicked his ass out too and he had the nerve to try and come back after his girlfriend kicked his ass out...Hahahaha "NOT" "Go somewhere else no freebies here anymore" is what I told him. So I can completely understand where you are coming from and I don't understand how people like that can stand to look themselves in the mirror and actually be happy with who they are and how they live!! I AM MISS INDEPENDANT LIKE IT OR NOT THAT IS WHO I AM AND I WILL CHANGE FOR NO ONE EVER!!!!

I have always paid my own way. My brother, and I were age 8 we had doughnuts to sell door-to-door for people to eat for breakfast. People would be looking for us at 3:30 am each day.(We made enough to buy a lawn mower.)This was back in 1960.
