Suicidal Squirrels

For generations upon generations we held this land, this territory

Now man is cutting down our homes, to build buildings with multistory

We had a meeting, our food is nearly gone, tell me what reason is there to go on?

Now as we hear the loud noises that so quickly cut down our homes

We refuse to keep running further and further away, we're too tired to roam

And now we choose to take our own lives, before we allow man to drive us away

Keep cutting down our homes, ecologically, it won't be long before YOU pay

Hehe, not to be cocky, but for the subject, I think I pulled that one off pretty well lol

yep only 3 minutes

Ok new one for you snow covered mountains and rain fall. 2 of my favorite things

Ominously, they looked up at the sky, filled with fog and offering very little sight

They knew the climb would be hell, but with the weather, there was no chance for flight

The plane had landed somewhere high upon the mountain deep in the snow

There was little chance that any had survived, but it was worth the risk and it was their job to go

The freezing rain pelted down on them but they were rescue workers and had taken all of the courses

This particular group was also prior military, had made harder climbs and were all ex Special Forces

They toiled slowly up the mountains, carrying at least 50 pounds of medical supplies

Even if they only found one survivor, it would be worth the effort to save that one from demise

After hours and hours of climbing, the located the wrecked plane stuck deep inside the snow

The pilot had lost his life in the crash, but to their disbelief, fate had upon some of them their life bestowed

Working quickly, diligently and with purpose, they pulled the four out and gave them medial aid

Each was stabilized and ready for transport down the mountain, a trip not to be easily made

But pure grit and determination had saved the lives of four people on this foggy day

And upon return, the brave souls that climbed so high to save them received rounds of praise
