Why the hell not.If people are willing to do it and people are willing to pay for it then ye it should be legal.

Any "criminal" activity that you legitimize takes the control away from the criminal element, which weakens them. So on those grounds, I'm for it. I've never been keen on legislating morality.

ok debbie..let me put it this way. IF they regulate it and take them off the streets and made them use proection....wouldn't that be better than now? if it happens anyway...
I don't think it's right morally...but that's just how i was raised. everyone is raised different. but wouldn't it be better to make it better? |

if i police man sees a whore getting in a car, she is aressted, if it was right to be a whore, then they would make it legal, but it is allegal, therefore its not right, you are right...it's not right now. but if it was legal...would it be better? i know several people from my old bar days that would go home with someone without knowing them any longer than a hooker would. in this world...it happens...good or bad they still do that in the uk, arrest a whre if shes seen getting into a car. should it be legal, NO. just more and more people will be having sex and cheating on ther partners. deb if your partner cheats on you he did not love you to start with. a person does not cheat with a hooker or anyone if they love you |

debbie is entitled to her opinion. personally i don't do casual sex either. i used to when i was young. and I certainly don't get paid lol I understand what debbie is saying...all i'm saying is that if it happens anyway...why not make it legal so they pay taxes and can regulate things thankyou. at leasts someone understands |

Legislation of morality never works. 1)Prohibition (alcohol) 2)War on Drugs (yeah right) 3)Prostitution (been here since the invention of trade) I'm not saying that I'm for or against it, but spending resources and tax dollars on something that can't be eliminated is illogical, irrational and downright stupid. In many cities(most famously Amsterdam) it's regulated, taxed and the workers aren't subject to the violence and disease that sex workers in other countries are. I'm in no way condoning it, and don't see the need to use it myself, but I am a reasonable human. Regardless of my opinion, if it can be done, people will do it, so regulate and tax it. As always eloquently and intelligently stated... |

That is a risk the lady decides to take. The consequences could be deadly, though. But as far as public protection, that's why you have testing. |

I think she's referring to dirty hoe's.. the thing is you legalize it and there are regulations just like the food inspectors.. I'd hope they wouldn't handle the cantaloupe but hey they can regulate std's etc.. maybe shoe a card that you were non-std certified and "always condom conscious".... |
