How many smokes a day constitutes an occassional smoker?

i consider it when drinking......only when drinking........but that's just me.........oh, dn't forget when really stressed.......that counts as occassional......just my opinion though

For me it means I don't do it everyday, but since I do still smoke somtimes..I didn't feel right saying no

i had a doctor tell me one time,if u smoke less than a pack a week,,,it wont hurt ya,,,,,,,lol i was smoken about 3 packs a day,,,,,,damn i don't miss that craven at all

every odd once in awhile, if I'm both having a drink and happen to be around someone who's smoking, I'll bum one & light it up...

A pack every three days or so would constitute occasional to me.

i consider it the same as a social drinker......only when drinking........but that's just me.........oh, dn't forget when really stressed.......that counts as occassional......just my opinion though depends who you ask, I once had a uncle walter, smoked like 5 packs a day, cut down once he got the ring in his neck, to like two packs a day and he said he just smoked occassionaly now. It was fin at christmas when he would play the human fog machines and blow smoke out of his neck hole, fun on halloween too, he said it was his soul leaving his body. funny though smoking didnt kill him, choked on a applejack that got caught in his wind pipe. |

This has always interested me because "occasional" is such a subjective word.
I smoke seven packs a day but I don't CHAIN smoke so that's just OCCASIONAL! or I smoke with my friends on New Year's Eve when we're out partying and celebrating. That's it. And that's occasional. You could make an argument for the jury in either case. To me in this setting I'd take it to mean less than every day or less than two or three times a week. But then what I think doesn't matter because I'm not the one saying it. |
