I answered that huge questionaire you posted and still have not recovered ... Well what the heck did you do all that for?? The OP was asking for questions to help her get to know someone better. I was giving her some ideas. That's all. It wasn't meant to be answered by anyone in the forums here!

as someone who has smoked 2 packs a day for 60 years and quit 6 months ago, there is no such thing as occasional, either you are a smoker or you are not.....

Well Widower what about someone who smokes maybe two or three times a month when they get together with friends for a poker game or when they're out having a drink? What do you call that?

if it is only one a day one a week or one a month, you are still a smoker OK not a heavy smoker but a smoker just the same..

Ok widower, I'll grant you that on a legaleese level But for the sake of being more precise in the description of yourself on a site like this... isn't "occasional smoker" a viable option to have? If I smoke twice a month I don't want to be lumped into the same group that smokes two packs a day. And I want to know the difference in the women I'm looking for too because the one lady I'd still be interested in but the two-pack a day chick I'm not.

I consider myself an occasional. I will only smoke when i am around 2 of my friends and THEY have the cigs. I have MAYBE 6 cigs a week and thats on a HEAVY week.

How many smokes a day constitutes an occassional smoker? if you smoke daily your NOT a occasional smoker. i started having a fag when i went clubbing just every weekend, and now i smoke about 8 a day. so DONT start social smoking, it can lead to being a regular smoker.

Im in the process of quiting, I smoke maybe 3-4 a day depending on my stress for the day...I'm on Chantix so I have to quit in 7 days or pay the price..

OK will grant you a reprieve, I would say you can list yourself as a light smoker, say you seldom smoke or you only smoke when you are ___________, place your own description here.

Occassional smoker is anyone that smokes just once in a while like when drinking or stressed but not everyday.
