I'm not a native Minnesotan, but I've always admired the Twins, they don't keep highly talented people, and have won 2 world series. Unlike the Red Sox, which have almost 3 times the payroll. |

Oh and I like the Cardinals and have a warm spot in my colon for the Cubs.

I'm not a native Minnesotan, but I've always admired the Twins, they don't keep highly talented people, and have won 2 world series. Unlike the Red Sox, which have almost 3 times the payroll. First, let me say that I am a fervent supporter of a salary cap in baseball. Really. Secondly, the Red Sox payroll was nearly exactly double the twins, not triple. Still disparate, admitted. Thirdly, Sox have 7 all time WS. (That one had to be mentioned out of pride). I loved Kirby Puckett when i was growing up though!
