it is to break it off. But just before you tell your partner, they drop the bomb: "I have cancer and probably only have one year to live." How do you react to that?

I would stand by them ... Yes it happenned to a friend of mine.......the girl was a sweetheart, and she had Colon cancer and she was taken from us in 3 months........He proposed to her and she died a happy woman......... Miss her dearly........
