Every year I'm broke and get to hear all the yuppie spawn brag about
what they're gettin for Christmas, when I dont ever have enough $$ to

Yeah, I ran ou of $$ after I got half my kids something. Now what to do
for the other half.

The same I always have to do with EVERYBODY, tell them love is better
than any material gift, and hug them!!!

Try telling that to a 2,4,5,8,9,11 and 12 yaer old!

Tell them christmas is a myth!

But yeah, that's reaaly the truth. We were raised with nothing but love
for Christmas most of the time. It's really ridiculous to go and spend a
bunch of money you don't really have just for one day that is all a
comercial anyways!

Bear take them to midnight mass!! I was fortunate to be able to do a
nice Christmas for my 2 kids this year, but they know what it is like to
do without at times.
Love is really the important thing~ I know it is hard for them to
understand but maybe taking them to church will help them feel the real
spirit of what Xmas is all about.

I am usually broke at Christmas myself. This year was no different
losing my job 2 weeks before christmas and not getting my christmas
bonus because of that. I went out and got a few small gifts for my
daughter and wehn my last check came in the mail I got a really big gift
for her. Christmas is for the kids. I am not going to worry about
financial income until after the holidays at this point. If I can get my
own business going here it will be like a windfall of money with my
first paying sale and each one I make will give me the oppertunity to
make more and more of them. My only concern is that I may not be able to
make the sales on a regular basis or fast enough. but if I can I will
literally increase my income. The way I have found to begin to enjoy the
season this year as to look at all I have this year. I am going ot be
able to spend my mothers last Christmas with her and my daughter. That
is something I will remember for the rest of my life. I have my daughter
for the first time on Christmas day all to myself and my family. I can
see alot of happiness with alot of sorrow but the happiness must win
out. Going to the store today for a last minute gift was even a pleasent
experience for me. Seeing all the people in a panic trying to find last
minute items and knowing exactly what I came for gave me peace of mind.
