that when you meet someone new you like that you start acting different? Like you percieve in your mind what you think that person will like and then start acting like that, I hate that..feeling...then I know I have feelings for himmm...

I want to know if others do this or i am the only one..

I have to watch myself, because I tend to feel the need to do that too. With me, it's like a need for approval. But, if you're aware of it, then you probably have control over doing and if you want.

If you mean wearing my cell batteries down almost daily, finding myself on planes to middle America, looking for work in a place I never would have thought of if left to my own designs?? Then yea... I guess I'm guilty of that.
Trying to be something I'm not? Not so much. Maybe when I first started dating..... but I was in my early teens then and pretty insecure, by comparison.

I also do not appreciate folks trying to be something they are not around me. Especially after a recent, really interesting experience with that. Apparently she thought I prefer she was widowed rather then married to, and cohabitating with, a living man, was not what she said she was, professionally, financially or personally, was named different, and lived in a different place then what she told me. Had she thought that out completely.. She would have known that it would have the flight characteristics of a lead balloon, as far as I'm concerned. I did not find that to be, in the least bit ~ attractive.
