what i dont understand is why the young ones always say they are bored, irritates me, when theres so much you can be doing with your life

As long as there is life, there is hope. People should open their minds to the thought that they can do anything that they are willing to get up and do ;) You rock for trying to let people know that.

Deb you are right.. when I was there age I don't think I knew what bored was.. I was busy and doing things all the time. Now age, work, family it changes things.. OH to be young(er) again!!! |

The only thing that really gets to me is insomnia, that bugger really has it out for me.

what i dont understand is why the young ones always say they are bored, irritates me, when theres so much you can be doing with your life Debbie, my grandpa had something he'd always say to me when I was little, and I'd say to him, "Grandpa, I'm bored.". His reply: "Jason, bored people, are boring people.". He taught me the vaule of being amused by the world around me... and to this day that's how I am. I think one of the most unattractive traits/greetings is someone that says, "Hi, I'm bored.". |

My problem is almost the opposite of boredom. I have too much going on between my brain, and everything outside of my brain, that my body won't shutoff. Maybe if I quit reading, and watch more TV, my brain will atrophy enough that I'll fall asleep.

I would love to comment on this, but I'm 30 so I guess I am still in that 18 - 30 range.... Princess!!!
But in all seriousness, I agree....when I see a post about someone "giving up" Or asking if they will ever find their soul mate - blah blah blah..... and then I look and see they are like around 18 or so.......I laugh. Really. I found it amusing. |
