im glad i have a boy ...hes 9 and is already asking questions...and apart from explaing the birds and bees to him...ive explained safe sex and the age consent....i havent gone into great detail...but he knows whats what and the curiosity has been sorted which is sometimes half the battle.

Back when I was studying law around 1980..right here in the great USA, in the state of Massechusetts, it was STILL IN THE LAW BOOKS.. a boy 13 and a girl 12 could get MARRIED!!!!

And look at the age sets from countries around the world! Some are as low as 12!! In many countries, girls get married at 14!!! And start having kids at 15!!!

So pull your heads out! At least take a look at the REAL WORLD and MAYBE you can broaden your minds at least a little bit!

Finally, regarding the original question, it's not something to condone, but this is what society is promoting. Peer pressure is so hard on kids growing up nowadays, that for us parents who DO put our foot down, and who DO speak to our kids, it is EXTREMELY difficult for them not to succumb to peer pressure. What is done, is done, TALK, don't speak to her in a judgmental state, but do TALK about what is bothering you. She'll listen.

This situation needs to be understood, as for the age thing, the age limit on "Stautory rape" is 16, so if it's consenual....it may not be illeagal, but I'm not quite sure...I would most definetly state my "displeasure" in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS to BOTH!!!! Talk to a Professional, talk to Others who HAVE KIDS and have experienced this, see what they did, see what the outcomes were...
P.S. Yes, I do have a son that is 15, and yes we had the "Talk" he has a girlfriend, and they both FULLY understand my position on this subject without question....That won't always be the "silver bullet" I was a teenager once too, it's not all that different today.

Well iv talked to her for 4 days straight.......Iv told her whats guys want way before she knew it at first 2 she just started believing him. She knows how she hurt us but she she hurt he self in the long run!!!!!!

I think if the girl is 17 then its not so bad, im 18 and would have no qualms about going out with a 17 year old girl, I think that parents of a young lady (not just one under 18, early 20 somethings 2) just go nuts in general if they find out that their daughter is having sex with ANYONE

times have changed now teenagers r having sex before they hit 16 by the time they r 18 they had sex multiple times. i dont want to blame on the parents but its their fault since they didnt care to pay enough attentions to their kids.
