i do have to say, though, that this is the disappointment that i experience from this site. . . and in life in general... why does there have to be a certain time we wait to call someone if we just want to talk to them? i guess i just really don't like games. go with your gut. I agree. I never learned all those games, but I watch and hear other people and it amazes me. Like, where did they learn the rules? Why dont' they trust their own instincts? If you want to talk to a person, I think you should call them as soon as you realize that you have something to say. Why is this not the norm? |

I met a guy at the bar this weekend and I'm the type of person that doesnt mind calling the guy first. We hung out Sat nite and he wants to hang out again...so how long do I wait to call him? I always wait for the guy to call me

I guess it all depends what you want to call him for. If its going to be just a physical thing call while the initial zing is still there, and let it run its course till the excitement fades away.

It's premised on the fact that guys 1) aren't good at meeting women, 2) aren't good at maintaining a relationship with the women they do meet, and 3) are too lazy to individualize their approaches according to how they feel about any particular girl. As a result, they created an arbitrary set of rules, and many of them follow these rules religiously. I use "they" and "them", because I think these rules are ridiculously arbitrary and rigid. |
