Very sorry to hear that...
I'm seperated/divorced for over a year, and am IN NO WAY comparing my situation to yours, but the holidays still hurt a lot. They say divorce is like a death in the family, but you still have to see the person. I know on holidays I don't... Go out, get drunk, and bang some tramp. Usually makes you feel worse. I don't sit around and mope. Get together with friends and keep yourself occupied. Laugh as much as possible. |

it doesn't fade, for me, but the memories get better, and it's those memories you want anyway. then, i can look at it as a healthy positive cry. it feels much better.
