where are all my fellow nebraskans?

This is Nebraskan is here...but usually just listening to the crickets chirp on this board.

Anyone want to say what they like best about Nebraska or their own town or city?
I would say Omaha has plenty of bars or places to eat,maybe too many. Itis growing as a city but still does'nt have a real major attraction.The closest thing is probably the zoo. What do You think?

From Omaha. I think any place you live, it is what you choose to make of it. There are a lot of things to do, places to go, etc etc. Of course most aren't much fun alone. But have learned to rely on friends.

I live in the middle of nowhere. Seriously, we even have t-shirts that say that. It is 150 miles to the nearest walmart. Even here, though, you can find things to do. We have a summer co-ed softball league that is fun and there is always poker at the Elks club on Friday nights. Being in a small town, there are lots of little parades, festivals and such. And if you are so inclined, we have 3 bars and kareoke once a week. What more could a person ask for?

There are alot of guys as well as women out there.Gotta be some to hook with.This is Nebraska and there is more ways to get together than just the Huskers.I've found it more enjoyable meeting people who don't live in the city(Omaha), or even in the state.

I'm close to Fremont, and about a half hour drive from Omaha. Im not sure how far I am from Lincoln. |
