Topic: Sinners Prayer ? | |
---|---|
Here we go .... 1 John 5:14 says, "If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." John 9:31 declares, “We know that God does not hear sinners, but those who worship Him and do His will, those He hears.” It has also been said that "the only prayer that God hears from a sinner is the prayer for salvation." As a result of this Scripture, some believe that God does not hear and/or will never answer the prayers of an unbeliever. In context, though, the Scripture is saying that God does not perform miracles through an unbeliever. The following Scriptures describe God hearing and answering the prayers of an unbeliever. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us that God answers prayers based on whether they are asked according to His will. This principle, perhaps, applies to unbelievers. If an unbeliever asks a prayer of God that is according to His will, nothing prevents God from answering such a prayer – according to His will. So then what was the prayer of your mother? Thats between my Mother and God .... what a stupid question to ask . Thats not my business and its definetly not yours . |

The bible teaches us that we should pray together, I am not being rude. again because I have not given you the answers that you think I should you are being mean. We should come together to pray, I only offered to help |

Brandy's mothers prayer is none of your business, kenneth. You think to take more upon yourself than you are able to sustain. Prayers in earnest are answered in one way or another. It matters not what her mothers prayer was/is. What matters is that she reached out in prayer.

I'm sorry if it sounds like i'm being mean..but ur being stubborn..even in group prayers not everyone shares what they're praying for...Donnar's right...what matters is Brandy's mother reached out to God in prayer...

I call my friends and family and ask them to pray for specific things, and I do this because sometimes I feel like maybe I am not living up to God's standards. Most of the time it is asking prayer for other people. So I tell them what I need them to prayer for.

What does that have to do with the topic? Stay on topic.

thats understandable...but it wasnt offered up as something for people to pray about..it was a question about a convosation she had with her mother...asking for the details of the prayer..going alittle too far...if u really wanna help and pray for her, in a larger aspect...

"Ok" but my point is that if she is not living her life right, based on what she is praying for, it does matter to God if she is not worshiping God. Example: Praying for money, or a new car. Why should he grant us anything if we won't do what he tells us to do? Ok go ahead and do what you want it doesn't matter to him. The Bible doesnt matter, God doesnt matter The word doesn't matter just do what you want..he will answer your prayers...Now I just lied...But that doesn't matter because I just told you what you wanted to hear |
