This is just my theory but I think that a lot of people tend to be more open and honest to others if they are not under the pressure of having to meet that person. If I am talking to someone that is 3 states over I am more than likely going to be myself and down to earth. If I am talking to someone in the same city I may be more elusive or not as open. Partly because I'm shy and partly because I don't want the pressure of having to deal with this person face to face. Again that's just my thoughts and I may be totally wrong.

I've been ready for a change for a while now, anyway. So finding my significant other 2000+ miles away was not a real issue. Not to mention... I've always been up for an adventure. I married long distance even before the internet existed. I go where I need to go and can work from anywhere.

Doc Brown says: 1. Now, if my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious sh1t. 2. Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads. if you look in (cyber)space then that is your neighborhood if you look round the corner, why, there you are! |

Well I don't even live in the same country as most of the people I meet here
But I have actually physically (sometimes very) met up with them eventually. And with some of the others it may have been for the best that we never did get too close together. It could be that you are being saved a lot of disappointment. (Or she is). |
